Tues., July 26 or Thurs., August 11, 2016
Sohier Room, Main Library, 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Come learn the design potential of Sketchup software for 3D printing at the main library on Tuesday, July 26 or Thursday, August 11, 2016. The design workshop will be facilitated by Tucker Lemmer, a Montserrat College of Art intern. Attendees will be encouraged to conceive of a specific project that would allow exploration of the software and make it easy to use our 3D printer for future projects. The instructor will be on hand to provide direction and assistance. Capacity is limited, and registration is required: please sign up on our 3D Printing page.
The workshop is free, and open to age 12 and up. No previous experience needed. Registrants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop/device and to download Sketchup (it’s free!) prior to attending. For additional info or questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
