Tuesday, March 29
6:30 – 8:30 PM
Sohier Room, Main Library
You may know you can get eBooks from the library – but did you know you could also get magazines? What about watching a movie? Reading a comic book? Doing a practice exam for the SAT or a Civil Service exam? Taking lessons on playing a musical instrument? Learning how to draw? What about classes in law, accounting or entrepreneurship? Courses for homeschooling?
Join us on March 29 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM to explore the growing number of digital offerings your library card allows you to access for free. Elizabeth Thomsen from NOBLE will be doing a segment on NOBLE’s OverDrive collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks and how to access them. Various Beverly library staff will be talking about our other eBook collections, as well as how to access movies, magazines and more.
While we won’t be able to offer individual help with devices at this program, we will do our best to answer questions about accessing our collections on devices such as the Kindle, iPad, smartphones, etc. No registration required. Questions? Call 978-921-6062 or stop by our Reference desk.
