Needham resident Bob Begin will open the Spring 2016 “Monday Mornings” series on Monday, March 7 with “T. E. Lawrence, the Arab Revolt & Palestine.” Mr. Begin will take us back 100 years to when WWI was raging, with a focus on the Middle East. Learn how British interests in the region, and the coincident influence of T. E. Lawrence – “Lawrence of Arabia” – on native Arab populations led to decisions that still intensely resonate around the globe today.

“Monday Mornings” is a weekly lecture series for seniors that runs in the spring and fall months at the main library. Programs are free, and all adults are welcome. Signup is not required, but room capacity is limited. Attendance at any program may be capped to ensure an enjoyable and safe event for all attendees. Programs take place in the Sohier Room from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Light refreshments are available starting at 9 AM.

To be added to the program email list, or for more info, please contact Robin at flynn@noblenet.org. See Spring 2016 lecture titles here. We hope you’ll join us!
