Friends of the Beverly Public Library Ongoing Book Sale

Thanks to the hard work of the Friends of the Beverly Public Library, there will be books on sale in the library year round. The ongoing sale can be found on the designated bookcase (located on the second floor of the main library, near the microfilm) and will be frequently replenished. Grab some great reads at phenomenal prices and provide financial support to the library.

Please note: While we appreciate you thinking of us for your book donations, we are not accepting book donations at this time.

NEW! Garden Beds

Check out the two raised garden beds at the Farms branch. Two families helped plant the flowers this June. The garden beds and flowers were donated by Beverly Main Streets and Leonhard’s Florist with a grant from AARP.

Updike Donation

Michael Updike, son of John Updike, and his wife visited the Farms branch library on the morning of April 13 to donate some items of his late father’s. John Updike lived near the library for many years and visited often. Read more about these pieces of literary history in this Salem News article.
