The library is working with City officials on how to conduct a safe, phased reopening in accordance with city, state, and CDC guidance. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

We are posting updates, activities, and online resources on facebook and twitter. And you can join our email list for news. Remember, we are always open online.

Please keep any books, DVDs and other materials currently checked out until the library reopens. There will be no penalties and the library does not charge fines. The book drops at both the main library and Farms branch are closed at this time.

Not at this time. Your holds will be waiting for you when we reopen.

Many library services are not shut down. We offer numerous digital services that card holders can enjoy remotely. Now is the time to get familiar with our digital collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks, streaming video and music, magazines and newspapers, and more. We are increasing our online services, including eBooks, movies, audiobooks, and other information resources.

Our WiFi extends outdoors. Please feel free to sit outside or park in our lot to use the Wifi. Be sure to follow appropriate social distancing guidelines by staying six feet away from others.

Many museums have closed and we have suspended museum pass reservations.

The Bookmobile must be run regularly to prevent issues stemming from disuse. With this in mind, we have been taking the Bookmobile for brief drives to keep it in good working order.
The Bookmobile is not making stops, nor is it conducting any business at this time. We are doing this so the Bookmobile will be in good operating condition when we are able to welcome you back aboard.
