FAQs

The library is working with City officials on how to conduct a safe, phased reopening in accordance with city, state, and CDC guidance. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Please email us at bev@noblenet.org. Staff is available to answer your questions.

We are posting updates, activities, and online resources on Facebook and Twitter. And you can join our email list for news. Remember, we are always open online.

The book drops at the main library and the Farms branch are open for all materials. For the safety of our community, all returns will be quarantined for one week before being checked in. If you follow your online account, please be aware that items will not be removed from your account. Be assured that you will not accrue any fines. We appreciate your understanding.

For everyone’s safety please only return items to the book drop. Staff cannot accept returns. Please call us at 978-921-6062 if you have something that won’t fit in the book drop and we’ll make arrangements.

Front Door Service is here! Our “Front Door Service” allows you to place holds online and pick them up during designated hours. We are all excited to get materials back in your hands!

Many library services are not shut down. We offer numerous digital services that card holders can enjoy remotely. Now is the time to get familiar with our digital collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks, streaming video and music, magazines and newspapers, and more. We are increasing our online services, including eBooks, movies, audiobooks, and other information resources.

Check our new one-stop page too. We’re actively adding new content to highlight remote services.

To apply for a library card, complete this form and a staff member will be in touch with you.

Our WiFi extends outdoors. Please feel free to sit outside or park in our lot to use the Wifi. Be sure to follow appropriate social distancing guidelines by staying six feet away from others.

Museum pass reservations are suspended at this time.

The Bookmobile must be run regularly to prevent issues stemming from disuse. With this in mind, we have been taking the Bookmobile for brief drives to keep it in good working order.
The Bookmobile is not making stops and is not open for browsing at this time, but home delivery is available for those who have special concerns that prevent them from accessing the library. Please contact Katie Marsh with questions about home delivery at kmarsh@noblenet.org or 978-778-5886.
