UPDATE: We have run out of glasses.
If you did not get glasses there are alternate methods to view the eclipse, be sure to read NASA’s safety information first. These alternate methods include pinhole projection and are provided by the American Astronomical Society.
On Monday, August 14, the main library Children’s Room had a limited supply of free eclipse viewing glasses – one pair per individual, or three per family, while supplies lasted.
We also provided an information sheet about safe viewing of the August 21 solar eclipse, which is a partial eclipse in New England. Click here to see a cool animation of what to expect in the Boston area!
