“A Universe of Stories” 2019 All-Ages Summer Reading Program

Join us for our All-Ages Summer Reading Kickoff Party on Wednesday, June 19 from 6:30-8 PM

Check our calendar for fun events all summer!

KIDS
Blast off and explore worlds of fun by joining “A Universe of Stories” Summer Reading Program on June 19! Track your progress with space stickers on a reading log. Children ages 5 and up who reach the goal of 700 minutes of reading will win the Topsfield Fair Prize Packet: one admission ticket, one hot dog and drink voucher, and two ride tickets. Listening to stories counts too! Children ages 4 and under will win a free book. Reading logs showing the 700 minutes must be brought to the Children’s Room by August 7. Everyone who brings the log back will also be entered in a raffle to win some cool prizes! Keep up with the Summer Reading Program on the Kids page.

Reading for a Cause
Help us support a budding scientist! This summer we are collecting new school supplies and backpacks for the children of Pathways in Beverly. We want to help growing scholars by giving them the tools they need to succeed. New school supplies and backpacks can be dropped off in the Children’s Room of the main library.

TEENS
Register for the Teen Summer Reading Program through July 31 for opportunities to win great prizes including free books, tickets to the Topsfield Fair, and raffle tickets for the grand prizes–$50 gift cards! Teens win prizes by tracking how much they read and the events they attend on their “A Universe of Stories” game cards. The more you read and the more you do, the more you win! Sign up at the Summer Reading Kickoff on June 19 or at the first teen summer event, Cupcake Wars! Or, sign up and get your game card in the library any time from Thursday, June 20 through Wednesday, July 31.
