2021 Summer Reading Program

The 2021 “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Program runs from June 21 to August 13.

Check our calendar for fun events for all ages, all summer! Pick up a Summer Reading brochure the next time you’re in the library.

We invite you to read on the wild side this summer and join the Summer Reading Program! Earn virtual badges as you track your reading using the Beanstack app or use a paper log to track your reading time. Complete the program by reading 12 hours by Friday, August 13 and you will be eligible to enter a raffle for gift cards, a T-shirt, or a “Tails and Tales” browsing reading bag! Everyone who completes 12 hours of reading will receive a small, squirting dragon. Get more info on the Kids page.

Join us for the Teen Summer Reading Program! Download the Beanstack app or pick up a paper form at the library and start logging hours and activities to earn badges. Each badge enters you into a raffle for gift cards. Summer Reading ends by 5 PM on Friday, August 13. Get more info on the Teen page.

Summer reading isn’t just for kids! Join us by logging your summer reading using the Beanstack app. For each book logged you’ll earn entry into a raffle for prizes to be drawn on Monday, August 16. Write a review and get an additional entry. Don’t want to use Beanstack? Email titles and reviews to Lisa at ryan@noblenet.org for entry into the raffle. For readers 18+.

Tails and Tales” is sponsored by the Beverly Public Library, the Friends of the Beverly Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services with support from the National Women’s Hockey League team Boston Pride.
