“Libraries Rock!” 2018 All-Ages Summer Reading Program

Rock out and read this summer by joining the “Libraries Rock!” summer reading program. Track your progress on a reading log. Children age 5 and up who reach 700 minutes of reading will win the Topsfield Fair prize packet: one admission ticket, one hot dog and drink voucher, and two ride tickets. Children 4 and under will win a free book. Reading logs showing the 700 minutes of reading must be brought to the Children’s Room by August 8. Everyone who brings the log back will also be entered in a raffle to win some cool prizes! More info and programs are on the Kids page.

Reading for a Cause
The Friends of the Beverly Public Library have generously offered to support the local musical nonprofit group Music & Youth. Add a Book Note with the title of your favorite book to our Children’s Room musical display. When we reach 1,000 Book Notes, the Friends will donate $200 to Music & Youth.

Register for the teen summer reading program through July 31 for opportunities to win great prizes including free books, tickets to the Topsfield Fair, and raffle tickets for the grand prizes – $50 gift cards! Teens win prizes by tracking how much they read and the events they attend on their “Libraries Rock!” Game Cards. The more you read and the more you do, the more you win! Sign up at the first teen summer event, Cupcake Wars! Or, sign up and get your game card in the library any time from Thursday, June 21 through Tuesday, July 31. For information please contact our Young Adult Librarian, Meghan Karasin, at karasin@noblenet.org or 978-921-6062, ext. 2130. More info and programs are on the Teens page.
