The main library has a Lulzbot Mini 2 available for public use. There is a flat fee of $1 per print.
If you would like our staff to print your object for you and you have a print-ready .stl file, send it to Matthew at martens@noblenet.org. Matthew will follow up about turnaround estimates and requests for clarification.
Prior to using the 3D printer independently, patrons must sign up for the Introduction to 3D Printing instructional session through our Book a Librarian service. The session covers the basics of working with the 3D printer and a brief survey of ready-made design sites such as Thingiverse. Introduction to 3D Printing and independent printing is open to ages 12 and up.
For independent printer use, visit the Book a Librarian page to schedule time. In addition:
- Patrons must sign a user agreement and a waiver of liability.
- Print job duration must not exceed 10 hours.
- All printing must be completed 30 minutes before the library closes.
